Golden glamour for the opera of the year

The 501 turntable is used in countries throughout the world. It could be high up a mountain (about to get on a ski-lift) or much further down (buying a ticket to an underground museum), but wherever you find yourself there's a good chance the turntable neatly handing over your ticket came off a machine at Wurster. And if you ever go to the theatre in Stuttgart, to the Opera of the Year*, you'll probably end up in front of one of our six more 'noble', highly sought-after ticket counters. One of the first things you'll notice is that the Stuttgart authorities asked us to anodise the counters in brass. From the moment you buy the ticket, the whole occasion takes on an air of glamour and sophistication. We also added a pass-through in the glass to allow staff to hand over larger objects (such as programs) through a small window.

*The Stuttgart theatre house has been crowned "Opera of the Year" four times in the past 5 years

One quick turn, and on to La Traviata

With its tried-and-tested rotation device and automatic lock, the 501 snaps into place after each 180° turn, ensuring customers receive tickets as quickly as possible.
