Security technology: Dubai counter

Blinds with integrated lighting, as requested in Dubai

In 2003, we put on our thinking caps to come up with something special for a trade fair in Dubai. Knowing how important the front-end of counters is to the Sheikhs, we re-designed our money hatches to match the requirements of the highly specialised Arab market, incorporating a variety of customised extras.
The overall module was made larger to accommodate wider swivel doors on the case hatches (they tend to use bigger security cases than in Europe). Other features with the Dubai Counter included a self-contained blind to keep out prying eyes and integrated lighting to brighten up the unit under shadier conditions.
Some people might dismiss such features as gimmicky, but for the Arab market it was exactly what they were looking for. It is also a reflection of our goal to keep our finger on the pulse of customer requirements. We intend to keep our eyes and ears open to market developments and will continue tracking customer needs, to provide them with exactly the right solution.

Market safety requirements – as standard

It goes without saying that the Dubai Counter meets all established Wurster safety standards. The overall unit is delivered ready for installation and adheres to ballistic protection category M3 requirements (or if required, higher) as well as Accident Prevention Regulations (German UVV laws).
