We were asked by the Munich office of the Federal Department for Foreign Nationals to provide a twin-window module complete with hatch and a two-way intercom. It was a highly demanding assignment: unfortunately the Department sometimes has to deal with unsavoury incidents involving asylum seekers. In this specific case the counter had to be fire resistant to fire resistance level F30.
We provided a Hamburg-based high-security delivery company with modules compliant with F90 fire resistance levels. When you are having to hand over large quantities of money without exposing goods to the outside, you obviously need to meet the most stringent security standards. The hand-over units have to be both fire resistant and bullet-proof. The module we provided is used for handing over sensitive documents and delivery notes and has to guarantee keeping out all flames from the outside.
