The transfer lock is suitable for both interior and exterior use, thanks to the built-in seals that offer protection from dust and draft. If so requested, the doors will be made of bullet-proof glass, which has the effect of reducing the inside depth. The standard model is made to answer the requirements of safety class FB4. However, the unit can be made to any standard of bullet protection up to class FB7. The standard model is intended for installation in counters. Special-purpose models allowing for the specific installation requirements of customers are also possible. The „Public“ intercom system can be integrated; this will, however, affect the dimensions.

The transfer lock is designed for electric operation by means of switches with status indication. An interlocking system assures that no door is opened unless the other door is closed. In case of a power failure the lock is automatically switched to manual operation. However, one door is mechanically locked at all times regardless of how the doors are operated. Upon request, the transfer lock will be supplied without electrical drive, i.e. for manual operation, only.
