Award-winning design meets value for money

When an oven manufacturer asked us to design doors for their ovens, we developed an ingenious solution combining metal and glass. Compared to a conventional door made of stainless steel tube, this solution saved so much weight that whole new design possibilities suddenly opened up. Not only that, the doors cost much less to produce – and allowed the firm to avoid the delivery problems associated with stainless steel tubing. The reduced weight allowed us to completely redesign the doors for our customer. Our glass-metal bonding method has now become standard – and our latest oven doors for this customer have even won a design prize.
