When it comes to deburring, we sort the wheat from the chaff

Many processes and production methods leave metals with an unwanted burr. Removing this remnant of production can often be unnecessarily labor-intensive. At Wurster, we deburr both flat and bent sheet metal using Fladder machinery. This state-of-the-art equipment deburrs laser-cut metal, stamped metal, even metal covered with protective film – always offering maximum reliability and performance. Our flexible, highly specialised Fladder grinding equipment leaves edges and cutaways perfectly rounded after deburring. Components ready for deburring are fixed to a transport belt by vacuum and pass beneath grinding equipment which descends from above. This removes the burr without creating a second one. Edges, cutaways, and even the tiniest perforations are all equally deburred. The process is suitable for all kinds of steel and stainless steel.

To deburr smaller components, we use special vibratory grinding equipment. This means we accommodate the widest demands – from aggressive deburring and rounding edges to mirror finishes for ultra-sensitive components. Leaving your components with anything from a rough pre-ground finish to a smooth, seamless surface ready for galvanizing.
