Keeping the German embassy in Thailand safe and sound

This joint project with the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning in Berlin involved adapting the 20/20 Night model to special use at indoor counters. The German embassy in Bangkok has been using the counter since 1999, such that the counter now owes its name to the city. Today it is used in a variety of other embassies in every corner of the globe.
Instead of using a flat tray over the sliding compartment, we inserted a special slide to seal it off from the outside. The client also asked us to incorporate a number of other features, including a slanting handle, hand-protection and a larger deposit area.

Frequently named directly in invitations to tender

As an integral part of the VISA-2000 window unit, the Bangkok Counter sliding tray is often referred to specifically as a quality benchmark in public invitations to tender.
